Race Results
The draw for starting spots
put Jeff Scofield on the pole, followed by Wayne Anderson, Jeff Choquette, BJ
McLeod, and Ben Kennedy, with Bobby Good in sixth. Anderson jumped to a quick
lead at the start, with Scofield, Choquette, McLeod,
and Kennedy setting the top
five for the early part of the race. Choquette eventually moved to second and,
after several attempts, managed to get by Anderson just past the midpoint of
the 100-lap event. He cruised to his first win in the Sunoco FAST series, with
Anderson finishing second and Rookie of the Race Austin Kirkpatrick third. Good
and Kennedy rounded out the top five.
The race was
slowed by seven cautions, with one red flag resulting from Corey Freed’s
mechanical problems and resulting fluid drop. 28 cars competed in the feature,
with eight cars running the B-Main.
